Biomedical Sciences Distinguished Interdisciplinary Seminar Collaboration – “Neuroimmunometabolism: Immune Regulation of Neural Circuits Controlling Metabolism” with Dr. Ana Domingos
The Biomedical Sciences Distinguished Interdisciplinary Seminar Collaboration (BMS-DISC) event aims to bring the Biomedical Sciences department together collaboratively with another prominent life sciences department/division on campus to build stronger connections and promote cross-disciplinary partnerships. The inaugural BMS-DISC event will be a collaboration between BMS and the Division of Nutritional Sciences (DNS) We are proud to co-host Dr. Ana Domingos (Oxford, Dept. of Physiology, Anatomy, and Genetics), an internationally recognized scientist and dedicated educator, whose research on obesity/metabolic health is at the intersection of physiology, immunology, mouse genetics, and neuroscience, who will be presenting her talk, “Neuroimmunometabolism: Immune Regulation of Neural Circuits Controlling Metabolism.” This event will take place in CVM’s Yarnell Lecture Hall 4 (S1-210 Schurman Hall) at 4:00 on Monday, December 18, followed by a reception in the Takoda’s Run Atrium
