Building a Loom with Upcycled Material Virtual Seminar for Military Veterans

Are you growing animals or plants for fiber? Have you considered making value added products using wool or other fibers? It is often assumed that weaving takes an incredible amount of space and money. Well, Sarah Gotowka is here to show you that anyone can weave easily and resourcefully from their own home! Join us to learn how to weave using upcycled materials such as cardboard and old t-shirts. We will begin by looking at a wide array of woven cloth from different parts of the world, and then dive into weaving techniques of our own! Veterans must reside in NYS or NJ to register. This is part one of a two-part series on weaving. Keep an eye on our Farm Ops Calendar for future workshop announcements.

Veterans must reside in New York state or New Jersey to register.
