Food R&D through AI-driven Experimentation

We’re pleased to welcome Vinay Indraganti, Founder & CEO of BCD iLabs (https://www.bcdilabs.com/) to Cornell. He will discuss AI approaches to food product development and manufacturing for accelerated and more predictive overall food production.

BCD’s flagship software platform, Innov8 OS, aims to accelerate product development cycles by reducing the number of experiments required for successful bench-scale projects. By incorporating nutritional, functional, sensory, regulatory, cost, and supply chain parameters into a single AI-driven experiment, the platform has the potential to revolutionize R&D processes for food and beverage CPG and ingredient companies.

During his 24-year technology career, Vinay has held multiple roles, from Chief Technology Officer to Global Practice Head and Solution Architect. Most recently before co-founding BCD iLabs, Vinary was global vice president of digital transformation and strategy at Ingredion Inc., focusing on R&D support and manufacturing transformation.
