Maersk Shipping’s program for achieving zero-carbon shipping

Copenhagen-based Maersk Shipping is the world’s largest container shipping company by fleet size and volume. They have set a goal of achieving zero-carbon shipping by 2050. In this presentation via Zoom to the course CEE 4640/6648 “Sustainable Transportation Systems Design” taught by Francis Vanek, Dr. Bo Cerup-Simonsen, CEO of the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping in Copenhagen, will discuss Maersk’s program for achieving this objective.

The presentation is open to faculty, students, and staff outside of the course, to hear from one of the most important corporate players on one of the most challenging aspects of decarbonizing our economy. For those who cannot join the talk in person, a Zoom link is available.
