At 2:00 p.m., Keisuke Ariyoshi (JAMSTEC) will speak on “Monitoring of shallow slow slip events by seafloor cable networks along the Nankai Trough.”
Ariyoshi is the Principal Researcher (Group Leader), Research Institute for Marine Geodynamics; R&D Center for Earthquake and Tsunami; Forecasting Earthquake and Tsunami Monitoring Research Group, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology.
At roughly 2:45 p.m., Takahiko Uchide (Geological Survey of Japan) will speak on “Revealing crustal stress and fault geometries by massive numbers of small earthquakes in Japan.”
Uchide is Chief Senior Researcher at Geological Survey of Japan, AIST, and Planning Officer at Research Strategy Planning Department, AIST. Currently he is serving as a Group Leader at Geological Survey of Japan, AIST.
