Bio:
Vikram Krishnamurthy is a professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University and a member of the graduate fields in applied mathematics, and mechanical and aerospace engineering. He teaches and conducts research in statistical signal processing and stochastic optimization with applications in social network dynamics, adaptive radar and sensing. His current research focuses on the dynamics of blockchain, and inverse reinforcement learning (Langevin stochastic dynamics and micro-economics) with applications in the design of cognitive radar systems.
Professor Krishnamurthy is a Fellow of IEEE, served as distinguished lecturer for the IEEE Signal Processing Society, Editor in Chief of IEEE Journal Selected Topics in Signal Processing. He was awarded an honorary doctorate from KTH, Sweden in 2013. From 2002-2016, he was a Canada Research Chair professor at University of British Columbia, Canada. He served as technical program co-chair of ICASSP 2013 in Vancouver.
Professor Krishnamurthy has given plenary lectures at IEEE Control and Decision Conference (2011), IEEE International Information Fusion Conference (2011), IEEE Statistical Signal Processing Workshop (2011 and 2018), GameNets (2016), IEEE Signal Processing Webminar (2017).
